About the Author

Peter Bently was born in Tidworth and attended Balliol College, Oxford, where he studied for a BA Hons in Modern Languages. He has two young children and now lives in Devon. Cats Ahoy!, his picture book with Jim Field, won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize 2011, and King Jack and the Dragon (with Helen Oxenbury) was named as an American Library Association Notable Book of the year.
