About the Author

Teagan Bouma is an Australian author who grew up in the idyllic countryside of Victoria, where her love for nature began. As a child, she was fascinated by insects and small creatures, often accidentally releasing them into her parents' home. These early adventures sparked a lifelong curiosity that Teagan now channels into her stories. When not writing, Teagan enjoys hiking through Australia's diverse landscapes with her husband and three sons and expressing her love of the natural world through painting.

About the Illustrator

Rose Skelton is a passionate children's book illustrator living by the sea in Cornwall, UK where she draws inspiration from the natural world around her. Infused with her love for animals and nature, Rose crafts enchanting illustrations on her iPad using digital brushwork, creating detailed, whimsical worlds.
