About the Author

Dorothy Clark is a writer whose first picture book, Grandpa’s Handkerchief, illustrated by Siobhan Dodds, was shortlisted for the Smarties Prize. She lives in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

About the Illustrator

Becky Palmer is an illustrator, author and comics artist. She graduated from the Cambridge School of Art with an MA in Illustration in 2013, and was awarded the inaugural Sebastian Walker prize. She lives in Cambridge.
