Everybody's favourite owl now available in a sturdy board book format! Who is that in the forest, howling and howling? A wolf? No. It s a little owl. Everyone in the neighborhood from hedgehog to crow to squirrel to mole to stag beetle tries to comfort the little owl. They rock her in a large cobweb. They give her a nut. But even the mole's necklace of flowers does not calm her down. What on earth could be the matter?" AUTHOR: Paul Friester was born in 1961 in Kapfenberg, Austria. After graduation he studied medicine, philosophy and German. Since 1986 he lives and works as a freelance copywriter in Vienna. Philippe Goossens was born in Brussels, Belgium, where he still lives today. About his creative work he says, "When the crayon sets off on its great journey across the paper, the table vanishes, the walls disappear, and unexpected notes come in." Colour illustrations

Industry Reviews

"Owl Howl is perfect for parents and children alike, the woodland creatures each representative of the various stages of patience and understanding in caring for an inconsolable child. The lovely illustrations look like oil on board and are rich and deep in their colors."- New York Journal of Books
