Industry Reviews
I was asked to review this book by the author and not knowing what to expect I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, I liked this book so much I am going to loan it to my Daughter to read. This book is VERY well written, and it is obvious that the author has extensive knowledge on the subject of broken thinking and how it affects our lives. This book struck home with me in quite a few chapters, it was a real God send to me at this point in my life. She writes about faulty thinking and what it does to us, and yet she teaches what God says about how Christ can come to our rescue if we will only allow HIM to do so. One paragraph I loved was "When we are empty of our own ability, we understand that our rescue must come from another source. This propels our hearts toward God, and when we return to him we are blessed." She has quite a bit to say about pain and suffering, which I could really relate to and anyone who has had a lot of trials in this world would learn from this book as well. The author also talks about letting go of what we thought this life should be like, and that it is not always easy. There is death to that, death to a dream. This is not what I would call a "quick read" as I wanted to ingest every word so I read a chapter or two each day. I am giving this book 5 stars, and would give it six if I could. I am going to buy this authors other books now that I know what a great author she is. B. Koehn
