The 11th of August is Love Your Bookshop Day!

Bookshops are places of mystery and wonder, knowledge and possibility – gateways into a countless new worlds. For a reader, there no place on earth quite as alluring as a bookshop. There’s just nothing like the feeling of being surrounded by books and knowing that you are among your fellow book-lovers.

If you happen to be near a bookshop on Saturday the 11th of August, make sure you go in and appreciate the magic in the air … that special brand of magic that comes from having lots of books together in one place. Breathe in that book smell and then perhaps treat yourself to a new book? (Or three or four?) And if for some reason you can’t make it to your local bookshop, or if you live in a rural area without a bookshop nearby, remember that Booktopia is always here for you online!
