Tender Rot: Bitter Bloom is the second and final volume of the Tender Rot series-a Southern Gothic duology set in Louisiana. It picks up the Morning Jeune Moreau watch a man she thought she killed step out a sheriff's car at the church she faithfully attends--miraculously rescued from the river she threw him into-with his fiancee on his arm and the parish attorney waiting at her gate.
