Johnny Ross, gambler and gunman, joined up with Dan Maffrey to hunt down the men who had robbed Dan and left him for dead. On their way they saved lovely Jeannie Bain from raiding Indians and took her along with them. At last, in Gilburg Crossing, they found the guilty men posing as the local law officers but holding their mining town in a reign of terror. The three of them transformed a community cowering under local despotic rule into an enraged and vengeful army, whilst working out their own personal problems ... and guns had their use here too.
