Ashes to Ashes

Set in 1981, DCI Gene Hunt returns in the sequel to the critically acclaimed Life On Mars. Flanked by his faithful sidekicks Ray Carling and Chris Skelton, Hunt takes on London crime. He meets the smart and sexy DCI Alex Drake from 2008 who has studied the now deceased Sam Tyler. When Alex is shot and wakes up in 1981, she realises she has assimilated Sam's fantasies with her own experiences to create this world. To a soundtrack of Duran Duran and The Clash, sparks fly in this 8 part series as Hunt and Drake struggle with each other and the world around them.
