Armada

In the remote South Pacific, the floating, KÄoa Hotel and Resort welcomes its first lucky guests for a five day, four night stay in a tropical paradise. What they find, however, is Hell on the high seas.

A man of the sea, Alex Gregory is living the dream. Working on the KÄoa feels more like a permanent vacation than a real job. However, not long after the guests arrive, things begin to go wrong. The sea becomes unsafe as the first of the man-of-wars arrive on the scene. Physalia physalis, 10 to 30 centimeters long, not including their stinging tentacles, their stings are powerful but seldom deadly.

Just when Alex thinks things can't get any worse, they get far, far worse when an unimaginable menace finds them. Physalia Maximus, Man-of-war Supreme. Two to three meters in size, this never before seen species is not bound to the sea, the land, or the air.

They are calculating, vicious, and ravenous.

They swarm by the hundreds.

They are an armada of death... and their hunger will be satisfied.
