Earth's past holds the secrets to Arethea's future...
Most of the rock band Sun, together with Manon Valen, have finally made it home to Earth, but problems await them there too-anxious families, a snooping press, and unanswerable questions about where their lead singer is. And strange things keep happening that no one can explain. Has magic followed them to Earth from Arethea?
All Manon wants is to find the lost music of Taihandria and to return before the monstrous fire in Solil destroys everything. Yet Robin has his own agenda, and the obligations and distractions of being a famous rock star keep intruding on their plans.
Stuck in Taihandria, Colin Clought is trying-unsuccessfully-to stay out of trouble until his bandmates return. Olendizar threatens, Arsaan of Braggen plots in the shadows, and Periclea's rule in Taihandria is balanced on a knife edge.
