An eclectic mix of spiritual sci fi with a twist of illuminati conspiracy
Reviewed in the United Kingdom ð?¬ð?§ on 3 July 2008Definitely an unusual book which will keep you guessing all the way through. If you want to read something that is different and not run of the mill then this is the book for you. It has all the colour of Hinduism with a down to earth flavour of 90's Liverpool. An interesting first book from the author, I'm sure there will be more to come.

Lovely Book!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom ð?¬ð?§ on 31 March 2009Very descriptive, you can almost smell the spices, see the colours, hear the hustle and bustle of the street markets. If only teleportation can be that easy! And oh to be in another realm where everything is beautiful. Enjoyed the book immensely, bring on the next one.....

Full of Eastern Promise
Reviewed in the United Kingdom ð?¬ð?§ on 19 October 2008A highly original novel that flies between Liverpool, India, a tropical island and the interior of a magic mountain in the snows of the Himalayas, all thanks to the invention of tele-transportation machine.
The novel works best, to my mind, when it is most closely rooted in the author's personal experiences - the passages set in Liverpool and India are especially vivid, and have nice touches of sly humour. The dialogue in these sections is also well heard and well written. The more fantastical passages in the latter half of the book are also more challenging but the writing is consistently controlled and imaginative.
I look forward to his next novel, a comedy perhaps, that draws on the author's obviously rich personal journey.
