Trouble, Treasure, and a Trip to Egypt

Daisy Gumm Majesty has retired her Ouija board-after all, respectable widows don't go around communing with spirits. But when her best client, Mrs. Pinkerton, offers an absurd sum of money for one more s©ance, Daisy decides she can pretend to talk to ghosts just one more time.

What she didn't expect was for that s©ance to lead to an extravagant trip to Egypt, courtesy of Mrs. P's son and Daisy's best friend, Harold Kincaid. But no good deed (or in this case, questionable s©ance) goes unpunished. A casual marketplace purchase lands Daisy in the middle of an antiquities smuggling ring, a criminal conspiracy, and-just her luck-another encounter with the ever-grumpy Detective Sam Rotondo, who seems to have followed her across the world.

With a stolen relic in her possession and villains lurking in the shadows, Daisy must summon all her wits (and maybe even a spirit or two) to get out of this mess-preferably without landing in an Egyptian jail.
