In 2018, I was charged with managing a Global Audit Tender Process for one of Europe's biggest companies with operations in over 180 countries.The logical place to start was to look for some practical guidance. Sadly I came away largely empty handed. Yes, there were some high level "things to do" but what was missing was a book with proven real life experience.Having completed the journey myself, I decided to put down on paper all of the things I had learnt, from first hand experience of the full end to end process from the decision to tender through the set-up of the tender process, the tender, the decision and subsequent transition of auditors.
