A Name Withheld

Nevafer has survived the burning of Devona, the fall of a second homeland, and a perilous ocean crossing. Eldrorin should be a refuge. Instead, its harbor holds strangers with dangerous secrets—and signs that the Empire has followed them across the sea.

Beside his lifelong protector Raven, Nevafer finds unexpected allies in a guarded trader, an escaped dwarf, and an elven boy who refuses to speak his name. As the Empire presses for the child's surrender, the boy's silence becomes a mystery none of them can afford to ignore.

An ancient grove, a hidden inheritance, and the warning "far further will be lost" draw them beyond the harbor toward a truth guarded for generations. To reach it, they must learn whom to trust—and decide what they are willing to risk for a child the Empire fears.

A Name Withheld is Book Two of The Devona Chronicles, continuing The Last Heir of Devona.
