In the aftermath of the brutal battle between the Resistance and the Collective, hope flickers across the globe. At the Grand Hall of the United Nations, U.S. President Rolland Davis calls for unity between humans and the A.I. But Dr. Mordecai Adams sees through the illusion: the man on stage is not President Davis, but Lucias, the ruthless leader of the Collective, assuming the identity of the real President Davis, who he assassinated.
