Murder, intrigue, and an armchair sleuth. Eliza Thomson Investigates...
A suspicious death, a mysterious note, and some cryptic mumbling.

She often sends her findings to the police ... and revels in seeing justice done.
But do she and Archie know too much about the body on the doorstep? Enough for the killer to strike again?
Excited to put her amateur sleuthing to the test, Eliza Thomson takes her friend Connie on a trip across London to investigate...

Our intrepid sleuth, Eliza, is quite the character! The historical context of the mystery is penned well too. The story is just the right length to read before turning in for the night!
This book was a fast paced, old fashioned English cozy mystery. I really enjoyed reading it. It had several twists and turns. I highly recommend it to other mystery readers.
