Jack Calloway, private investigator and criminal profiler is back on steady ground and with a new case. A missing woman and a dead reporter confound Jack as he follows one dead end to another. Seattle Police Detective Ed Halstead isn't doing much better. He stumbled onto a case with more questions than answers. Reaching out to Jack for a favor leads them down a path no one could have predicted. As their cases collide, Jack and Ed are quickly in over their heads, and they can't solve this one without help, Jack knows just who to call.
