This book introduces geophysicists and geologists to the technique of interpreting 3-D seismic data. The topics it covers include basic structural interpretation and map-making; the use of 3-D visualization methods; interpretation of seismic amplitudes; the generation and use of AVO and acoustic impedance datasets; and time-lapse seismic mapping.
