It aims to provide an up-to-speed practical learning experience for different stakeholders involved in projects creating data products such as dashboard or statistics model.
It is written in such a way for readers with limited or no experience to grasp and aware the range of topics ("known unknowns"). For novice or expert in this field, a fresh perspective on the same topic ("unknown knowns").
Knowledge level range from fundamental to advanced concepts which are curated and deemed as necessities for any data product. Nonetheless, aims to create awareness, arouse interest and increase learning experience. Expose readers to different project aspects without having myopic view.
We strongly believe it is more important to understand fundamental first prior to application. Rarely a book is written based on data project experience, tacit knowledge, potential pitfalls, best practices & different approaches (non-exhaustive) in term of implementation efficiency with reasoning behind selection choices. This motivates us to write this book. Tip #96 is one of our favourite.
