Teaching is not an easy job. However, it is a very rewarding one.
Anita Davis Alexander was an elementary teacher at a Chicago Public school for four years.
During her time in the classroom, she encountered lively students, supportive parents, and congenial staff.
However, Ms. Alexander soon realized that the institution was lead by a toxic administration unit.
In the book, #Leaving Teaching, Ms. Davis Alexander provides a humorous retelling of her adventures in an academically underachieving school that was filled with energetic children, courteous staff, a brainwashed group of teachers and a megalomaniac principal who wielded his authority over his workers with maniacal intent.
