The Country Show Cookbook is a selection of award-winning recipes fresh from the country. Many of these tried-and-true recipes have been handed down from generation to generation or are a twist on the traditional. The Agricultural Society of NSW asked every country show society to submit its best award winning recipes. Of more than 400 submissions, the top 190 made it into this classic collection of home-made favourites.

Compiled with assistance from the Agricultural Societies Council, the parent body of the 195 agricultural show societies throughout NSW, the ASC promotes and protects Australia’s pastoral, agricultural and horticultural industries. Proceeds from the sale of this book will go to individual show societies and assist country areas.

This book will be launched at the 2010 Royal Easter Show and is endorsed by John Laws.
