About the Author

Sarah Wilson is an Australian media personality, journalist and blogger. She's the former editor of Cosmopolitan magazine and was the host of the first series of MasterChef Australia, the highest rating show in Australian TV history. She's now the host and program developer for Foxtel's Lifestyle YOU, and is a commentator and fill-in host on Channel 7's Sunday Night, The Morning Show and Sunrise, and The Ten Network's Good News Week and The Project. Sarah is an adept social commentator, following a career that's spanned politics, health advocacy, restaurant reviewing, opinion writing and trend forecasting.

The recipes are simple and easy to follow and I loved my friends copy, so bought it myself and recommend it highly to others too.

After quitting sugar a couple of years ago I have been on the hunt for a good recipe book for sugar free alternatives to indulge in once in awhile. So I bought this book without having a sneak peak at the contents first (will never do that again). I was not impressed when I started reading and discovered that half the book is dedicated to recipes for savory meals ... So I thought I would make a few of the sweet-type recipes. Note/ I followed them exactly as written - and well they were totally unpalatable!...the biscuits that contained stevia were crumbly and had a disgusting after taste (I will concede this might not be the authors fault, just my aversion to stevia!)... but after trying another recipe that was claimed to be a chocolate alternative I have come to the conclusion she has not made these herself. Completely disappointing

              For a variety of reasons my teenagers and I wanted to reduce the sugars in our diet. I am usually sceptical about these sorts of books because they tell you what you shouldn't do, but fail to walk you through the alternatives. This book not only gives you alternatives, but makes it easy to make the change.

                Thought this was really well thought out and really helpful to make a change, it gives you all the reasons for change makes it easy to have your pantry ready and prepare yourself so you will not get caught short in making new recipes and forced to eat incorrectly.
