Wolfpack

Orfeus is trapped. Manipulated into leading the Order of the Vengeful Wild, she is desperate to be a mere singer once more.

But relinquishing the mantle means damaging her relationship with once-enemy and current lover, Faol the Wolf.

Luckily, Orfeus has the perfect plan: break into the fabled Cloud Forest gene bank, steal wolf DNA, and reintroduce wolves into the wild. What could prove her devotion better than restoring Faol's favourite species into the ecosystem they both protect?

But messing with the natural order comes at a cost higher than Orfeus imagined. Now Arcon, the Cloud Forest's mechanical guardian, is determined to track her down. Worse, Arcon is malfunctioning, creating untold devastation. Isolated from her friends and allies, Orfeus has finally made a mistake she can't outrun-and one she may not be able to fix.

As unseasonable storms threaten a new climate disaster, can Orfeus find a way to repair the damage she's done and rebuild the relationships she's destroyed? Or will the world be pushed to the brink once more?
