Oriana has entered the world of the Below to immediately find herself thrown into a number of crises as Ciel's sister has returned from the dead, many demons are vying to take Oriana's position beside their High Lord and rumors circulate of Others making plans to steal the Crown from Ciel with the help of strange artifacts. She must learn how to navigate in this new realm, figure out who she can trust here and find ways to support Ciel throughout the challenges facing him.
Meanwhile, the Above is facing its own crises into which Ciel and Oriana find themselves involuntarily drawn when an old enemy returns and one of the Fates makes an unexpected play.
Oriana still struggles with her reconstitution into one being and has to learn quickly to make use of her welcome new strength and abilities, especially when Ciel finds himself forced to reveal what he is to the world at large.
