About the Author

Ann Whitehead was born in Sydney and now lives on the coast in southern New South Wales. She is the author of the bestselling Australia Street, The House Across the Road and another novel, Blackwattle Road, was written under the name of Ann Charlton. Her new novel, Waratah House, will be published in 2012.
