PradCorp can no longer crush the rebellion with overwhelming force, so they turn to other weapons. More subtle weapons. And one truly terrible weapon.
A weapon which first needs a test. One which will also flush out another thorn in the Corporation's side. A weapon the Wanderer can't stop - but that won't stop Kaira and Tarkus from trying.
But not all threats come from weapons. The journey will force Tarkus to confront the guilt he's carried for a thousand years, leaving him teetering on the edge of an abyss from which he may never return.
And as everything threatens to fall apart, he will come face-to-face with someone he never expected to see again.
