The V-Model is a software development methodology that provides a clear, structured approach to development and testing. The V-Model gets its name from the shape of the process flow, which resembles the letter "V". The left side of the "V" represents the stages of definition and design, while the right side represents validation and verification activities. The bottom of the "V" is the actual coding phase, where development occurs.
