History is sometimes decided by a random event. Take James Maddison for example - Jake runs an illicit brewery, and he leads a contented life. He is living in a fool's paradise when he accidently makes an important discovery. Though well intentioned, Jake soon finds his world falling apart.
His checkered past brings him up against an old enemy - when his partner threatens to leave him, he decides to act. He resorts to an unorthodox and spectacular course of action which shakes the sleep market town of Stroud to its core. His action leads to some weird and unintended consequences.
It brings him into conflict with the West Midland Police. Further conflict is unavoidable when the public get involved.
How he resolves these issues makes an interesting case study. If he plays this right - everyone stands to benefit. If he gets it wrong - there could be dire social consequences.
