For the first time gathered in a single volume, over 750 letters written by Swami Vivekananda’s own hand, from 1888 until 1902, the year of his passing. In order to preserve Swami Vivekananda’s voice, none of his letters has been set aside, from mundane and practical pieces of advice to his deepest thoughts on topics such as religion, spirituality, sex, as well as some of his touching impromptu poems.

In this 700 page 6”x9” monumental volume, not only can one follow Vivekananda around the world, from India to the United States, to England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, but also learn first-hand from his wisdom and views of our ever-evolving world.

The letters in this volume have been sorted by year and country, and an Index of Proper Names has been inserted at the end of the book.

Publisher's note: In order to be more enjoyable during reading, this book is in 6" x 9" format. In the same spirit, the paper is cream-colored, which causes less fatigue to the eyes than white paper. All our publications are carefully crafted, both in terms of typography as well as design.
