Beautiful Hawaii is where everyone goes for the sun, sand, sports and tropical lifestyle. Germany's rising tennis star Louisa Herzog-Riggs arrives on Oahu not to enjoy, but to work--an injury has sidelined her, but she's ready to get back into intensive training. That's not so easy when she encounters surfer Vince Greenfield on the beach every day during her daily run.
Vince has quit his job in Silicon Valley and wants to open a surfers' hostel on Oahu with his twin sister Laurie. Even though Vince has a completely different outlook on life, Louisa enjoys the light-heartedness that surrounds him. She increasingly wonders in his presence whether life should be about more than just serving a tennis ball at top speed, nutrition plans, workouts, training and rankings within her sport.
But then she learns that Vince has been keeping secrets about a few essential chapters of his life...how can she give up everything she's worked for for a man who hasn't even told her the truth about himself?
