"MG Hardie Presents Spooky Suspenseful Spectacular Science Fiction"- bookreadersheaven.blogspot.com
“Oh, man. This was not what I expected...at all. I cannot say that I agree with all of the ideas, but I liked the message of the book. I appreciated all the ecology, social justice, consumption, resources management...all very important. I had no idea it will go in that direction. It started off as X Files and I was instantly glued.
The science bits and nature descriptions were phenomenal. I wanted to go diving at one point and I can't even swim. I shook my shoulders when I read touching a liana makes a pile of bugs land on top of you. I had to Google some of the places because the writing made me curious. It was like reading National Geographic.
The way MG Hardie achieved that balance between story moving forward and philosophy reminds me of Richard Bach and Michael Crichton books...this one had me hooked.”- Cabor Reviews
"After strange mysteries begin to alter Devon's perceptions, the ordinariness of Heathrow’s existence gives way to a very believable tale of horror as he learns about two unseen “species” apparently at war over the fate of humankind. 'Them' by MG Hardie is surprisingly vivid and descriptive." -Bookpleasures.com
“I didn’t see that coming.”
"Them by MG Hardie gave me all I am asking for, when I am reading. It's cleverly written, well thought out and has some humor in it as well. What will Devon do in this dire situation? I loved the whole idea of the earth and how it is described. It's such a suspenseful little piece of art, almost a masterpiece.
MG Hardie is surely a strong writer with a good sense of how to build up tension in a story and how to make the reader feel like they are a part of it. Them was quite authentic - also love the cover. Them was a breath-taking journey, a scenario that captures the reader and makes you want more. I give it 5 Stars." - The Golden Heart Reviews
