Penny has spent two years at Whitaker & Sons doing everything right. Black suit. Flats. No jewellery. No colour that could be called a colour. Today she presents her modernisation brief to the partners. Junior partnership is on the other side of those mahogany doors.
Harriet is already standing in front of them.
Once she was Penny's only ally in a firm that still treats women as a problem to be managed. Now she is the first female junior partner and the office rules nazi. She does not raise her voice. She does not touch her. She only names each item Penny is wearing and the clause it supposedly violates.
The Undress Code is contemporary ENF erotica: embarrassed nude female, clothed-male / nude-female boardroom, workplace humiliation with a loophole instead of a lock. No dungeon. No curse. A law firm, a rival who already paid the same price, and two women who will sit through every future meeting with nothing between them and the table.
For readers who want the flush, the calculation, and the moment a woman realises she is not the only one who walked in.
