At a family reunion, bounty hunter Matt Jansen learns of a distant cousin who had run away from home two years prior. Intrigued by the incident, He decides to do some light investigation during his normal routines. As he is drawn into the investigation, he begins to learn the path the little girl was on and soon he realizes she got involved with some pretty bad people as her plight worsened with each step of her journey. Matt is determined to find out where she is, dead or alive. After several weeks of investigation, Matt learns the horrible truth of where she is and what she is doing. The runaway is alive and now no longer a minor. As Matt navigates the underbelly of society, he must find a way to bring her home alive and safe. Or die trying.
