Motherhood changes everything.
The physical and mental challenges mothers experience from the day their baby is born can stretch far into the decades beyond - and, so often, the support we need is lacking when we need it most.
In this groundbreaking guide, Dr Punam Krishan pairs her medical expertise with her own experiences as a mum to support you through every stage of the journey. From the overwhelming first weeks and months, to finding time for your own wellbeing when you have a toddler, all the way to navigating the teen years while dealing with your own fluctuating hormones throughout peri/menopause, Punam shows you how to:
- ground yourself amidst the chaos
- manage changes to your body and identity
- navigate shifting relationships
- and even advocate for yourself at the doctor's office
Through eye-opening statistics, restorative exercises, and reassuring advice, Punam empowers you with real talk and realistic solutions to reclaim your health, your voice, and yourself.
