Alexander Kovacs lies unconscious in a Budapest hospital, suspended between life and death. Around him, the silence he has carried for decades begins to crack.
His sons are forced to confront truths they have long avoided. Barbara, left alone in the villa that once revolved around her, finds herself facing the consequences of a life built on pride, resentment, and appearances. And far away in Bratislava, Katalin waits for the man whose absence has left an unbearable emptiness behind.
But silence does not mean that nothing is happening.
Old wounds reopen. Loyalties are tested. Hidden feelings rise to the surface, and the people Alexander loves must decide what truly matters before it is too late.
As the days pass and hope begins to fade, one question remains:
Can love still reach someone who seems impossibly far away?
The Time of Silence, the second part of The Legacy trilogy, is an emotional family drama about love, forgiveness, loyalty, and the truths that can no longer remain unspoken.
