Of Noa, thirty-four, who asks for the real version at midnight and receives it. Of Sena Varga, twenty-three, from the most hostile Coalition nation, who presses her palm to a warm floor and cannot unknow what that feels like.
And it is the story of what Ren has been reading in rocks older than the solar system.
