Dan Coltrane, an Australian Government investigator and Interpol agent is sent to investigate a smuggling ring operating through Australian warships in Asian ports. He soon realises that it goes further afield than that and he travels to Mogadishu on the African coast to verify the possibility of an Ebola virus being taken to the Australian mainland to infect the population. He finds the organisation involved when they make landfall at Geraldton and head south after spreading the deadly virus among the local population. WIth a force of three other military personnel, Coltrane pursues the four foreign agents who have been torching the bushland on their journey south. Coltrane confronts them near the town of Collie and they fight it out till the end. Coltrane returns to Perth and settles the final account with the insurrectionist leader before philosophising on the lengths required to protect our country from foreign invaders.
