A set of stand-alone Glossaries accompany all Supported Reading titles within the Flitlit Reading Scheme.

The Flitlit Reading Scheme provides tiered instruction by means of supported and confident reading titles with the benefit of page by page, matching illustrations.

Parents and students learning English as a second︱additional language find the titles considerably beneficial, especially with school and online support.

The supported reading titles add further value to schools and homeschooling through the provision of the comprehensive, stand alone GLOSSARIES, set out page by page for the series. This provision was highlighted as satisfying a need during extensive pilot work at schools in the UK and beyond.

Additionally, the glossaries provide a valuable contribution to blended learning through offering face-to-face and online activities, allowing a seamless and complementary flow of learning.

The glossaries support the Flitlit 'Meet The Characters' Introductory Books and the Flitlit 'Adventure Books'.

The 'Contents' pages within the Glossaries denote the Story Books in sequence.

Each Story Book page features text, image and page number as highlighted below.

Titles:

THE FLITLITS, Glossary 1, To Accompany Meet the Characters, Books 1-7, Serves Supported Reading Book Categories, U.K. English Version

THE FLITLITS, Glossary 2, To Accompany Meet the Characters, Books 8-13, Serves Supported Reading Book Categories, U.K. English Version

Industry Reviews

School/s Pilot Work Feedback (Credited with all Mandatory Consents):

"I am truly in awe of Eiry Rees Thomas. These books are classics and foster attention and a love for the written word. They open up discussions on many topics and encourage exploration and off screen play."

"On first encountering the Flitlit concept, I was overwhelmed. How do you begin to describe this incredible world? It is unlike anything I have experienced before. Each word on the page is placed to make the whole experience so expansive and rich in detail."

"The setting is a magical place that can be visited any time, anywhere and which stays within your imagination forever."

"It is the lyricism of the prose that knocks you off your feet and lulls you in like a siren's song. The employment of rhythm and rhyme creates a magical syncopation that builds anticipation as the stories are read aloud."

"The Guide for Educators is truly outstanding and will be an asset in helping children to grab on to that spark of imagination."

"We are deeply embroiled in 'Flitlit Fever' in the classroom. In fact, it has taken over our lives somewhat! "

"We have read the stories, analysed the language, looked for poetic devices, written reviews, composed Flitlit anthems, designed book covers, written raps, de-constructed characters, examined story lines... and even tried creating new characters and plots!"

"It has been a thoroughly enjoyable time that has truly harnessed the enthusiasm of the children."

"Eiry Rees Thomas and her Flitlits make learning a joy,"
