The Essential Loo Reader Volume 2 by author, Murray Shareez, (there is no Volume 1), is a compilation of 406 witticisms (jokes, observations, anecdotes) and 58 illustrations designed to make 'loo time,' or anytime, an enjoyable experience.
The book can be read with equal pleasure front to back, back to front, or anywhere in between without storyline breaks and/or issues with continuity.
As for the jokes, as noted by the author in the introduction, some can and will be understood at face value, while others may require an additional moment or two to fully grasp the humor that lies just below the surface.
Here's a small sample of some:
-
Why are therapeutic trust falls always performed over hard surfaces?
-
If a zombie elects to be cryopreserved, is that considered double dipping?
-
Who gets to park in the handicapped spaces at a golf club?
-
The best medium to use in painting the still life of an omelet is, bar none, egg tempera.
-
Dental royalty wear their crowns proudly.
-
Is a group of New York Yankees forming a social unit a 'pride'?
And
- Playing 'Crack the Whip' on a frozen pond is a great way for you and your party guests to break the ice.
And some are even better!
