Charlotte, a young woman living in the Overworld and working for an abusive boss named Travis in a traveling circus, is marked by society's judgment as an "easy" woman due to her dyed purple hair, earning her the nickname "Lavender." She endures humiliation and mistreatment until she runs away, hoping to escape into a nearby forest. Diamonds represent the elite, Hearts are seen as the charming but morally ambiguous, Clubs embody strength and survival, and Spades are the lowest, destined for labor and servitude. However, Charlotte has no card symbol, making her an anomaly. She is soon revealed to be the prophesized outsider destined to restore unity to the kingdom, untouched by the biases of the suits.
