Who is the Conjuring Angel? Hint: it isn't the Archangel Raphael, Toby Israel's guardian angel. The candidates include our ancient foe, the original Tempter, as well as one of his top lieutenants, Moloch, described by the blind poet John Milton, author of Paradise Los,t as Satan's "most militant." As modern and prosperous Seattle plays host to a horde of fallen angels, the city resembles a scene straight out of the Old Testament, the iconic Space Needle a beacon for demonic forces. The police are unprepared to handle an invasion from Hell and turn to a private eye with experience in spiritual conflicts. First, Toby Israel must track down a deadly warlock whose presence is a magnet for paranormal activity.
