Gallup, New Mexico, near the Navajo Reservation, is home base for an exclusive group of turquoise dealers known as stone men. Simultaneously, Santa Fe's Indian arts dealers are facing the bleak prospect of their sales being undercut by fake Navajo jewelry threatening to overrun the market. Gallery owner Charles Bloom is targeted by the FBI to become an undercover informant, his recent marriage to Rachael Yellowhorse making him the perfect patsy for the job. Little does Bloom know that his coerced involvement to help crack this case may wreck his marriage and inadvertently put his entire family in danger. A trained assassin now has Bloom's family in his crosshairs. It's a race to see who can stake the strongest claim to the secrets hidden on the desert floor of the Navajo Reservation.
