This book is an accumulation of insights that come from a season of my life that required me
to spend time in meditation, prayer, and reflecting on my life and behaviors while trying to find
peace after divorcing and trying to start a new business. I wanted to hold myself accountable
for my part in my relationship falling apart.
I realized that I had a lot of self-righteous thinking and that my perception of life had been tainted
by my belief systems and heavily influenced by societal norms.
I spent a lot of mornings on the beach watching the sunrise contemplating how I could have
made better choices. After going through a hurtful yet insightful
season of growth, I felt that these thoughts could help others maneuverer through life a little easier.
