Synopsis: Thomas Tudberry is not your ordinary eight-year-old boy. He is extraordinary! Being autistic is a challenge for him but, oh, what wonderful things he accomplishes. Thomas is a great big brother to triplets Digby, Dot, and Grayson, and has loving parents who adore all four of their children. Whether he is getting lost, or being bullied at school, or facing a huge audience all by himself, Thomas deals with life, and his autism, with courage and strength.
Autobiography: Janene Oliphant lives in the small town of Toddville, Iowa, with her husband, Lon. She has a son, a daughter, and three wonderful grandkids. After working as a secretary and a bank clerk, she retired and began spending more time writing. She decided to write a book about an awesome autistic boy. Taking from things she observed in her own grandson, she enjoyed bringing Thomas Tudberry to life. Besides writing, she enjoys being with her family, shopping with her daughter, Jenna, lunching with The Golden Girls Gang (her "squad" from Alburnett High School), and traveling back and forth to Florida.
