He'll keep her safe from everything, except himself...
Erin
I've spent my whole life around outlaws, close enough to get a taste of their darkness without letting them close enough to burn me. The last thing I need is to watch over a disgraced mafia prince but fate has other plans ...
I expected to barley tolerate him, but the closer I get to him - the closer I want to stay. Soon, I'll have to decide between keeping my carefully constructed walls up, or giving into the darkness that might just consume us both.
Connor
I'm carrying my family's shame on my shoulders, I should be using all my focus on redeeming my mafia legacy - I can't afford distractions, but she's the most tempting distraction I've ever met.
I'm used to having to hide my darker side, but violence seems to draw her in. Now, I just need to draw her in so tight she doesn't realize she's trapped until she's mine forever...
