On Friday the 16th of April 2038, the President of China and the Prime Minister of India will visit the Kremlin in Moscow in order to give an ultimatum: Russia should accept to open Siberia to the majority of their populations within 4 weeks, taking into consideration the ongoing food and water crisis. During this meeting the Russians will use functional MRI to secretly read their brains - they are determined, and if their proposal is declined the fight for Siberia is about to begin.

This is the sad story of the world in 2038. Hunger, water shortage, robot-soldiers, mBridge currency and US decline, solitude, microbivores nanorobots that treat pan-resistant bacteria, nanoplastics in food and air...

The Russian, a Colonel of the Secret Service FSB, was sure that a disaster would come. And that is why he had asked to be placed in the Town of Tiksi in Siberia, literally at the end of the world, as Commander of the local Russian Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles Base. It was a good choice to build his family bunker there, far deep into the Arctic Circle. But nobody can escape his fate. He will be soon sent to Maryland, in order to participate in the negotiations over the American plan so that the humankind will continue to exist...
