"Scorpion" follows the story of a woman who is badly injured when she is given three unnecessary surgeries by an ENT. She suffers from Empty Nose Syndrome due to the loss of her nasal turbinates, organs essential to the function of breathing. She suffers chronic infections, tooth loss and facial damage. Other doctors refuse to treat the woman's conditions, instead creating a paper trail of character assassination in the interest of protecting a colleague. The woman's HMO appears to have an unusual interest in facilitating the woman's destruction.
