Known as a master storyteller by all who meet him on the road, Peter High (aka Donkey) spins a lively tale about the twists and turns of life, about what makes him tick - and about encounters with a mysterious character named JC.
"I love getting lost in my thoughts as I ride my Harley through the countryside that knits the wonderful provinces and islands of New Zealand together.
"Whether I'm riding around and around the North Island or zigzagging up and down the South Island, my thoughts gather, and one day I wrote a few down.
"Saving Donkey is one of my stories, told in truth with a hint of fable and parable. The humour and soulsearching in this book is 100 percent me, so I hope you get it, and enjoy the ride." - Donkey
