Samantha Coates

Samantha Coates is an Australian pianist and teacher with over three decades of experience in both private and group piano tuition. She is also the author and publisher of BlitzBooks, a music education series that has brought fun and laughter to the areas of music theory, instrumental technique and sight reading.
Samantha has had extensive experience as a solo performer, accompanist and lecturer, and is regularly invited to present at conferences on a wide range of pedagogical topics, both in Australia and overseas. Her most recent international presentations were at the National Conference of Keyboard Pedagogy (NCKP) in Chicago, at the Music Teachers’ National Association (MTNA) in Baltimore and at the 2017 and 2018 Music and Drama Expos in London.
